Smoked Sea Scallops
Smoked Sea Scallops can be served alone as a delicious meal or as an additional side with any grilled steak or chops, pasta, or rice.
Ingredients
- 12 Large Sea Scallops
- Char-Broil® Pinch of Sizzle? Seafood Seasoning
- 4 Tablespoons Butter
- 4 Slices or Wedges of Lemon
Instructions
- In sauce pan melt butter and clarify; reserve to brush on kabobs and to make sauce.
- Dry scallops with paper towels; brush scallops with clarified butter; then season with a pinch of Sizzle Seafood Seasoning
- Place scallops on a smoker* at 250°F; cook for about 15 minutes or until they are golden brown.
- Add more Sizzle Seafood Seasoning to rest of butter; dip the finished scallops into butter; then serve with fresh lemons.
- Serve as an additional side with any grilled steak or chops, serve with pasta, or just on its own or with some rice.
- Best with apple or peach wood on the smoker.
Cooking scallops for 90 minutes seems like way too long!
