Robyn Lindars, the "grill girl" behind grillgrrrl.com. Robyn is on a mission to encourage women to learn to grill as it a great way to create healthy, flavorful dishes without all the fuss and clean up in the kitchen. She appears on local television, radio and is in the process of creating her own video series of outdoor cooking tips.

As a resident of South Florida Robyn claims it is always grilling season. In her own words: ?While most of my posts are about hot and fast grilling, I do appreciate low and slow methods of cooking BBQ and am a trained FBA (Florida BBQ Association) Judge. I compete on the "Too Sauced To Pork" team alongside my dad at the World Barbecue Cooking Competition at Memphis in May.

I love standing over a hot grill with the smell of smoke permeating the air. My recipes are done hot and fast and are simple with a gourmet touch. As a Southern girl living in tropical South Florida, I like to cook a healthier version of the Southern food I grew up on. I'm also a hotsauce and chili pepper addict so my recipes tend to be spicy.
