Tinnmel a member of the Char-Broil LIVE Community Forums who lives in Portsmouth, VA, explains why he thinks the Big Easy Smoker Roaster & Grill (SRG) is a great time saver during the work week.
“I have about 10 people coming for dinner tomorrow at 6:30pm, but I don’t get home from work until about 4:50. With the SRG, no pressure.
I got a pork loin and cut it in half. Half marinated with mojo marinade and the other half seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic. Pork is already loaded in the basket along with a dozen potatoes which have been oiled, salted, and peppered.
The loaded basket is sitting in the fridge waiting for me to get home. I also already loaded the smoker box with pellets. When I get home, all I have to do is grab the basket from the fridge, drop it into the SRG, and turn her on. I love my SRG!“
